Yuhei

Project Scope
My BA thesis focused on the creation of "Yuhei," a modern Chinese Sans Serif font. The design challenge was to merge the fluidity of traditional calligraphy with the geometric simplicity required for digital interfaces.

Role
Type Designer and Exhibition Curator. I managed the creation of the glyphs, the printed documentation, and the final installation.

Outcome
Delivered a character set of 300 custom glyphs and published two design manuals. I also conceptualized and built an exhibition to present the typeface and its development journey.
